JackSucksAtLife (JackSucksAtMinecraft) is a Youtube channel created by Jack Massey Welsh, and serves as his main channel. As of August 2023, it has 4M subscribers and 905M views. It was created on the 10th of March, 2013.[1]
As well as JackSucksAtLife, Jack has made several spinoff channels. Jack's main content revolves around Youtube Playbuttons, Analytics, the Youtube platform and Miscellaneous wide-appeal concepts.
Jack was previously known for creating Minecraft videos switching focus. He enjoyed a growing audience, only taking 20 months before earning a Silver Play Button. However by late 2014, he started to plateau and began to make QnAs once a week causing the inactive period of 2015-2016 where he would often only get around 3,000 views per video. He was partnered with a Minecraft server Skycade, his videos on which garnered a larger audience than he had seen previously.
History
When Jack created the channel in 2013, he originally named it 'Jack Sucks At Minecraft!' By 29th June the same year, he had already ammassed 1,744 subscribers. He made Minecraft videos that focused on mods, mini-games and lets plays. At the time, these videos got 500-1000 views on average. With his most popular video being a Mod Showcase. [2]
